Small and flavorful, these cookies are an almond lover’s delight, sure to become family favorites.
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar 50g
- 5.3 oz plain marzipan 150g
- 1 small egg
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1/4 cup ground almonds 50g
- 1/2 cup whole blanched almonds 100g
- 1 egg yolk for coating
Preheat the oven at 350° F.
Combine powdered sugar, marzipan, egg yolk, flour and ground almonds until dough is smooth. Form little round balls.
Cut the whole almonds in half, place three halves on each ball, and brush with egg yolk. Place balls on cookie sheet lined with baking parchment.
Bake for 20 minutes.
